Part Time Sports Cycling Coaches Wanted. April 10, 2015.
The Strider Early Learning Program is seeking Professional Sports Cycling Coaches to conduct Balance Bike classes in Hong Kong, Macau & China.
Applicants should possess the following :
- Experience with children aged 2 – 5.
- *Assistant Coaches will be required to attain a Coaches **Level 1 Certificate from the Hong Kong Balance Bike Association.
- *Head Coaches will be required to attain a Coaches **Level 2 Certificate from the Hong Kong Balance Bike Association.
- Native English speakers ( Non native English speakers will be considered for future classes conducted in Chinese )
Applicants must :
- Be able to work weekends and weekdays with varied hours and at short notice.
- Have a naturally positive mindset and be able to build a good rapport with children and parents.
- Be able to solve problems with a view to completing a task.
- Assist in the transport, setup and removal of lesson equipment and props.
- Be well presented, fit and healthy
- Be able to work outdoors for long periods of time in all weather conditions.
- Hong Kong I.D Card holder / have a valid Hong Kong working visa.
Extra consideration given to :
- Non smokers
- Ex or current Professional Cycling Athletes ( Please provide details with application )
- Sports Coaches from other sporting disciplines
- Physical Education Teachers
- Party or Group Entertainers
- Hong Kong Class 2 drivers license holders
All training and equipment is provided. Transport and communication expenses are subsidised.
*Assistant Coaches will be assisting a Head Coach in all lessons.
*Head Coaches will be required to lead a class with or without an Assistant Coach present.
**Level 1 & Level 2 Certificates fees and expenses from the Hong Kong Balance Bike Association will be fully refunded upon attainment for successful applicants and contractual conditions / obligations will apply.
